A faster and more reliable platform

You may have seen the words "backend migration" somewhere and wondered what it means for you. Here's the short version.

What changed

Behind the scenes, the part of our platform that does the heavy lifting — loading your data, sending emails, handling bookings — now runs on a newer, leaner engine called Go.

What you see on screen is exactly the same. Same design, same buttons, same workflow.

Why Go?

We looked at several options and chose Go, the language originally built at Google. Three reasons mattered to us:

It's frugal. Go does the same work using far less memory and processing power. On a modest server that difference is the difference between "always fine" and "sometimes struggling".
It's dependable. Go programs are compiled into a single, self-contained file, which means far fewer moving parts and far less that can break unexpectedly. It's the language behind a lot of the infrastructure you already rely on daily — Docker, Kubernetes, and much of Google's and Cloudflare's backend.
It's fast. Pages and actions respond noticeably quicker, and the platform recovers from a restart almost instantly instead of taking minutes.

We also considered other paths. Staying on the old engine would have meant simply buying a bigger server — more cost, same fragility. Newer JavaScript runtimes still had the same underlying limits. Go gave us a genuinely lighter foundation without changing anything you interact with.

How we did it

Carefully, and in small steps.

We didn't take everything down and rebuild it from scratch. We moved one feature at a time, tested each piece, and kept the old system running alongside the new one until we were certain nothing broke. If something had gone wrong, we could simply switch back.

What stayed the same

Everything that matters to you:

Your data, your campaigns, your bookings — untouched.
The interface you know — unchanged.
Your daily workflow — identical.

What it means going forward

A lighter, more dependable foundation means we can spend our time on features instead of firefighting. It also means the platform scales with you, rather than us having to ask you to wait while we add more server capacity.

Questions? We're happy to walk you through what this means for your account specifically.
